Message from the Representative　代表からのメッセージ

In recent years, Japanese sake has gained widespread recognition around the world alongside Japanese cuisine, recognized for its delicate flavour and refined aroma.

Sake is a treasure of Japanese food culture, cultivated over centuries through local terroir and human ingenuity. The time-honoured brewing traditions preserved by sake brewers across the country, combined with the distinctive water, rice, and climate of each region, give rise to a remarkable diversity of flavours — a true expression of Japanese culture at its finest.

At the NPO World Sake Culture Association, we are dedicated to helping more people overseas learn about and enjoy Japanese sake and its rich cultural heritage. We also strive to help visitors to Japan discover authentic sake experiences alongside the local breweries and traditions that make each region unique.

Making sake the drink of the world - with this hope in our hearts, we will continue
working wholeheartedly as a bridge connecting sake brewers across Japan with people everywhere.

その繊細で芳醇な味と香りで、昨今日本食と共に広く世界に認知されるようになった日本酒。

日本酒は、数百年の歴史を紡ぎながら、風土と人の知恵が育んだ、日本が世界に誇る食文化の逸品です。各地の蔵元が守り続ける伝統の製法と、その土地ならではの水・米・気候が生み出す多彩な味わいは、まさに日本文化の結晶と言えるでしょう。

私たちNPO世界日本酒文化交流協会は、この素晴らしい日本酒とその文化をより多くの海外の方々に知っていただき、楽しんでいただくための活動を行っています。また、日本を訪れるインバウンドの皆さまにも、各地の酒蔵や地域の文化と共に本物の日本酒体験をお届けできるよう、様々な形でお手伝いしてまいります。

日本酒を、世界の酒へ。 その思いを胸に、日本全国の造り手と世界をつなぐ架け橋として、これからも誠心誠意、尽力してまいります。
