Message from the Representative　代表からのメッセージ

In recent times, Japanese sake has become widely recognised alongside Japanese cuisine for its delicate and smooth flavour and aroma. Sake brewing in Kobe-Nadagogo, considered the best sake-producing region in Japan, began as early as the Muromachi period (1336-1573). During the Edo period (1603-1868), sake was shipped on special ships to the capital, Edo (now Tokyo), and became very popular. By the end of the Edo period, 80% of sake in Edo came from Nadagogo, making it a historical gem of Japanese food culture. We will do our utmost to ensure that Nadagogo sake, a part of Japanese history and culture, is loved and enjoyed by people all over the world.

その繊細で芳醇な味と香りで、昨今日本食と共に広く認知されるようになった日本酒。日本一の酒どころと言われる神戸、灘五郷の酒作りは、古く室町時代（1336~1573）から始まりました。江戸時代（1603~1868）には、専用船で首都である江戸（現在の東京）に運ばれ、広く親しまれ、後期には、江戸の酒の8割が灘の酒であったという、歴史ある日本の食文化の逸品です。私達は、日本の歴史と文化である灘五郷の酒を、広く海外の方々に愛され、楽しんでいただけるように尽力いたします。
